GHFD#1 Fire Commissioners

Chairman Dave Edwards

Dave came aboard at GHFD#1 as a Fire Commissioner in 2013 with being a citizen of the Oakville community since 1979.

He wanted to become a Fire Commissioner to continue service to the district after retiring 30 years of previously serving as a Volunteer Firefighter/EMT and Assistant Chief.

Fire Commissioner Larry Hamilton

Larry came aboard GHFD#1 as a Fire Commissioner in 2009 with being a citizen of Oakville community since 1944.

Larry wanted to become a Fire Commissioner to serve his community.

Fire Commissioner Larry Curfman

Larry came aboard GHFD#1 as a Fire Commissioner in 2011 with being a citizen of Oakville community since 1969.
